Rovers failed to score a single goal in last week’s 99-point defeat at the hands of competition front-runners Tigers, while Buffaloes were outclassed by Lake Nash Young Guns.
Bailey admitted his players were excited to play, even though it has been a tough past few weeks in terms of results.
“I think there will be a lot of passion,” Bailey said.
“The spirits will be high. I think it’ll be a fantastic game. I can guarantee we will be all going hard until the final siren, as well.
“We’re concentrating on our guys hitting the target. If they can hit a target, then we can maintain possession of the ball. If you hold the ball, you’ve got a better chance of scoring.”
Bailey will have the luxury of captain Michael Dombroski and Nick Becker returning to the starting line-up.
Buffaloes coach Adam Cuthbert-Dennis will be heading into the round seven encounter with a hint of caution, despite Rovers’ recent run.
Cuthbert-Dennis acknowledged the rivalry between the two clubs as evident as ever, which means previous results will mean little.
“It’s going to be a bit scary actually,” Cuthbert-Dennis said.
“They’re (Rovers) always unpredictable. As far as I know, they turn up for this kind of games against us. It’s going to be an exciting game.”
The Buffaloes coach will welcome back a number of key additions to his squad, including defensive enforcers David Black and Liam Giudes, while Anthony Devereaux is also likely to return to the midfield.
