Yeo arrived late as he aimed to spoil Webster in a marking contest during the second quarter of the Saints' clash with the Eagles at Etihad Stadium on Saturday. There were similarities with Hawthorn's Jordan Lewis' recent hit on hit on North Melbourne's Todd Goldstein which led to the Hawk receiving a two-week ban.

Webster first left the ground bleeding from the nose, before returning for a stage in the second term. However shortly after that incident he copped a head knock in a collision with teammate Sean Dempster.

When the teams arrived after half time, St Kilda substitute Blake Acres was no longer wearing the green vest. Webster had been made the concussion substitute, and soon after was given the red vest.

The Saints were a man down by three quarter time, with veteran Sam Fisher's game ended by an apparent right hamstring injury. It is the same hamstring as the one which caused him to miss much of 2014. It left St Kilda's defence further stretched in the absence of Luke Delaney and Sam Gilbert, who were not available as a result of short-term hip and quadriceps complaints respectively.

A small melee after the three-quarter time siren may also lead to fines for players from both sides.
