A big weekend of fantasy footy begins on Friday night when Geelong host Carlton at Etihad Stadium. Both sides are coming off a loss and keen to get back in the winner's circle, which hopefully will see many of fantasy footy's big names put in big efforts to get their team across the line.

Club captains Joel Selwood and Marc Murphy both have some serious fantasy prowess and will know that a lot of their club's chances rest on their shoulders, while the likes of Steve Johnson, Bryce Gibbs, Steven Motlop and Dale Thomas will all be looking to lift their game.
Saturday features a number of tantalising matches with the centrepiece being the Saturday night grand final rematch between Hawthorn and Sydney.
The Hawks pulled the Swans' pants down in September last year but are without captain and two-time Norm Smith medallist Luke Hodge due to suspension.
However, they have regained Jordan Lewis this week, currently the highest-averaging fantasy player in the land, along with another fantasy gun in Isaac Smith.
It promises to be a good match both for our eyes and our fantasy teams.
Finally, on Sunday, we'll see a fantasy great in Kane Cornes hang up the boots when he plays his 300th and final game against Richmond at Adelaide Oval.
Cornes has had a fantastic career on field – a premiership, four best and fairests, two All Australian jumpers – and has also been a huge contributor to our fantasy teams over the past decade.
He boasts more than 25,000 career fantasy points and has averaged more than 100 on three occasions, with his best an average of 107 in 2007.

A number of big fantasy players are set to miss this week. Mitch Duncan is out for a while with a broken foot, Nick Riewoldt and Brodie Smith are both being held back after a big collision last week, Matthew Jaensch is done for the year with an ACL, Lachie Whitfield is out sick and Andrew Swallow has a broken thumb.
However, every cloud has a silver lining and as stars go out, they also come in. Returning to the field this week we have some fantasy guns like James Kelly, Andrew Mackie, Kade Simpson, Leigh Montagna, Scott Selwood, Steele Sidebottom, Adam Cooney, Paul Chapman and Ollie Wines.
It promises to be a big week of footy so sit back, relax, and watch the fantasy points roll in.
