Bethelia 'Beth' Stewart was last seen about 7am Monday at an address on Nuthatch Street, Inala, in Brisbane's south.
The 74-year-old was wearing a black dress with white and red flowers, a maroon long-sleeved, collared shirt and a beaded necklace, carrying a black handbag.
She's described as of Torres Strait Islander appearance and 165 centimetres tall with a heavy build.
Meanwhile police are searching a large property southeast of Townsville for any sign of missing 62-year-old Kathryn Burdell, who was last seen wearing a blue shirt and black three-quarter-length pants.
They're combing a large property and surrounding areas on Allendale Drive, Alligator Creek.
Ms Burdell is described as being caucasian in appearance, about 167 centimetres tall, of a heavy build, with dark brown hair.
