Detectives from the Cloncurry Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad (SARCIS) looking for information regarding a VW Amarok trespassing on a pastoral property north of Cloncurry between 8.00pm and 9.00pm on Tuesday May 26.
Cloncurry Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad (SARCIS) Detective sergeant Bob Guteridge said the ute was last seen leaving Cloncurry and heading in a Easterly direction towards Julia Creek.
Detective sergeant Guteridge said they are following up on a report made by a grazier regarding a strange vehicle on their property.
The vehicle was believed to have travelled through Cloncurry between 7.00am and 8.00am on Wednesday May 27 and driven by a male; CCTV footage was unable to identify the vehicles registration.
“There has been an increase of offence in these types of trespassing offences,” he said.
Police hope the occupant/s will be able to assist with investigations.
