While some people would kill for a window seat on a plane, it was getting one that led Sam Llewellyn Hayball to threaten to do just that.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Phillip Stephens told the Maroochydore Magistrates Court that Hayball was not happy when he boarded a flight on May 6 to find he had been given a window seat.
Sgt Stephens said a passenger offered to swap an aisle seat but it was in an emergency exit area and Hayball became abusive when a flight attendant told him he had to stow his luggage overhead.
The court was told Hayball said, "I'm going to take everyone out" and "I'm going to knife everyone".
