Playing the blame game may be de rigueur within the LNP as it digests the scathing review handed down on its performance in government and during the election campaign, but the man promising to give the "inside story of the rise and fall of the Newman Government" says he won't be participating.

One term Kallangur LNP MP Trevor Ruthenberg, who lost his seat to Labor's Shane King on about an 18 per cent swing following the January 31 election, is offering those willing to pay $49 the chance to "unpack the inner workings of the LNP" and how it "snatched defeat from the jaws of victory".
The seminar, the latest in a series from ActionCoach, the company owned by self-proclaimed motivational guru Brad Sugars who is no stranger to headlines, will be held in June.
Mr Ruthenberg will be interviewed by Olympian turned public speaker Duncan Armstrong about "his insights on the contributing factors that took the LNP from a landslide victory to defeat in a single term of office"
The seminar and its promises from a one-term backbencher sparked giggles in Parliament in May when Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk brought it to the chamber's attention, but Mr Ruthernberg said he was merely helping small and medium businesses realise their potential.
"My session at the ActionCoach event is not a finger point event and it is not going to look for or assign blame to anyone or anything," he said.
"Sorry to be boring.
"It will take an objective look at how customer expectations and perception can affect an organisation, with our term in government as a backdrop to that conversation.
"ActionCoach and the folks I know in that company are great people helping small to medium size business achieve their potential and keep Australians employed and I'm very glad to help that effort."
The LNP released the findings of a review into what went wrong over the term of the Newman Government and found things began turning sour almost as soon as it won office in 2012.
The party has been left with 39 recommendations to work through on how to move forward and regain the trust of the voting public, which include scrapping donations altogether and using public funds for election campaigns.
