One man has been rushed to hospital and another is facing grievous bodily harm charges after a fight outside a home in Brisbane's south.

Police said a Fortitude Valley man, 42, and the 41-year-old from Mount Isa fought about 5.30pm Sunday at a home on Hercules Place in Sinnamon Park, near Mount Ommaney.
They alleged the older man was punched and kicked repeatedly, leaving him with life-threatening head injuries in the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The 41-year-old man left the scene in a red Holden Barina but was later arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm.
He was due before Richlands Magistrates Court on Monday.
