2010-11 A-League grand final - Roar v Mariners
Brisbane Roar completed a sensational home grand final win, the first of three in four seasons, against Central Coast. 0-0 at full-time, the Mariners took a two-goal lead in the first period of extra time before Brisbane pulled out two of their own in the next, forcing a penalty shootout. With Brisbane leading the shootout 3-2 with two kicks left, Brazilian winger Henrique had the match at his feet. He beat Mariners keeper Mat Ryan, slotting it into the back of the net, igniting the packed Suncorp Stadium.
2013 US Masters
A year after a painful loss, Adam Scott finally broke through fir his Masters win, in a play-off. Finishing equal top of the leaderboard along with Argentinian Angel Cabrera. One playoff hole wasn't enough for Scott to clinch the title, but he sunk Angel in the second hole.
2005 Ashes Second Test, Edgbaston
Leading the series 1-0, Australia were down and out in the second Test of the 2005 Ashes tour. An incredible fightback saw the visitors staring down an unlikely victory. Late on the fifth day, Brett Lee and Michael Kasprowicz were desperately hanging on. Two runs down, Kazprowicz misjudged a Harmison delivery and was bowled. England snatched the win in the closest Ashes result ever.
2003 Rugby World Cup final
At the time, it seemed painful. Almost 12 years later, it's the happiest the Wallabies have been in a World Cup since they last won the silverware in 1999. Johnny Wilkinson still holds a special place in the hearts of Australian rugby fans - a dark, desolate place. The Wilkinson field goal sank the Wallabies' chances of a home World Cup win with two minutes to go in the second period of extra time.
1994 Origin Game I
"That's not a try, that's a miracle." Rabs was pretty accurate when calling this magic finish from Mark Coyne, that gave Queensland a game I 16-12 win in 1994. They didn't go on to win the series but that try has gone down as one of the top Origin moments. The King certainly loved it.
2000 Bledisloe Cup
The greatest game of rugby ever played. Even though the Wallabies were on the wrong side of the result, this match still stands the test of time. In front of more than 100,000 people at what is now ANZ Stadium, the Wallabies found themselves 24-0 down. They nearly pulled off an insane comeback and led by one point after 80 minutes. Jonah Lomu spoiled the party in the 83rd minute as the All Blacks clinched a four-point win.
2011 Netball World Championships final
Australia's Diamonds and New Zealand's Silver Ferns have played out some of the most enthralling battles of any sport and easily boast the best netball rivalry in the world. The 2011 World Cup final will go down as the best, though. With scores even at full-time, the match went into extra time and they still couldn't be split after the first period. Caitlin Bassett sunk the winning shot in the final seconds to hand the Diamonds the trophy.
Miracle on grass
It was the most remarkable comeback of recent times for the Brisbane Lions. Trailing by as much as 56 points through the match in 2013, the Lions began a sudden turnaround to stun the Cats. It looked like they would fall just short in their efforts before Ash McGrath took a leading mark in the final seconds. In his 200th game, McGrath booted the winner after the siren in a fairytale finish.

In case you missed it yesterday, the Firebirds completed daylight robbery against the NSW Swifts. After trailing by as many as six goals throughout the game, Queensland led for just the final 14.6 seconds. Turns out it was the most important 14.6 seconds of their season.
