Churchill is not only a celebrity chef; he’s a health coach, internationally renowned author, television regular, Masterchef contestant, worldwide brand ambassador, key note speaker and 2014 CLEO Bachelor nominee.
Scheduled to appear at the second annual Mount Isa Health Expo on Saturday, July 18, following an intimate performance by Troy Cassar-Daley, Churchill will give a free one-hour live healthy cooking demonstration and bringing his wealth of experience in all things “healthy” to the event.
At just 25 years old, Churchill’s passion for sport, nutrition and cooking alike has seen him travel the globe; moving to the US in 2014 with a two book publishing deal and to begin filming his very own TV series.
“We are very humbled to have someone of Daniel’s calibre at the Health Expo,” Mount Isa Health Expo partner and Mount Isa Centre for Rural and Remote Health director Professor Sabina Knight said.
“Besides his celebrity status Daniel brings a wealth of health related education and experience to our program, with a Bachelor in Sport and Exercise Management and a Masters in Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning).”
Before and after his cooking demo Churchill will be available to meet with the public.
Modest when asked about his success and aspirations Churchill said: “I just want people to realise how simple cooking is and the power it has to bring people together. My number one rule is all food must be delicious and I want to motivate and inspire people to see how cooking healthy is just that ... delicious.”
Scheduled for July 17 and 18 at the Mount Isa Civic Centre, the 2015 Mount Isa Health Expo will also feature exhibitors, guest speakers, interactive activities, giveaways, coinciding Autism Queensland workshops and more.
Doors open to the public from noon to 6pm Friday, July 17, and again from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, July 18, with the full program available online at www.mountisahealth
