While the government is yet to respond to the 'Not Now, Not Ever' taskforce report into domestic and family violence ordered by the former LNP government and headed by former Governor-General Quentin Bryce, Minister for Women Shannon Fentiman said some measures would become clear in the coming budget.

The budget is due to be handed down on 14 July, with the government's response to Dame Quentin's report expected soon after.

But Ms Fentiman said tackling domestic and family violence was a "top priority" for the Palaszczuk Government and hinted at some of the measures the government was planning on moving forward on, and was working with Education Minister Kate Jones on programs.

"There are a number of recommendations in the taskforce report, but certainly we need to be tackling the attitudes and behaviours towards women that feeds the cycle of violence and we need to do that with young students," she said.

Ms Fentiman said she "absolutely" believed revenge porn to be part of the battleground of violence and intimidation women faced and that she hoped early intervention would help lead the charge for change.

"Absolutely, I do, that is my personal view," she said.

"Violence against women, domestic and family violence, it is all part of the attitudes and behaviours towards women in our society, so absolutely I think it is part of the cycle and worryingly -  you probably saw that Our Watch report about young people's attitudes to women?

"That is what is feeding the cycle on domestic violence. That is absolutely part of it."

The government's official response to the domestic violence taskforce is due next month.
