Three generations of the Page family will organise the breakfast to be held during NAIDOC week, and hope to make it an annual event.
Rick Page said the breakfast would recognise contributions the elders had made.
Elders needed to be respected for supporting younger generations through the years, Mr Page said.
Men who did not identify themselves as indigenous were welcome to attend the breakfast held at the Buffs Club.
“It’s important for them to come along and be part of it and come along,” Mr Page said.
“This is a good time to come along and say ‘this is what’s happening, let’s be proud of it’.”
The breakfast is supported by Mount Isa Mines, Serco and the Buffs Club, and will be held from 7am to 9.30am, on July 7.
