Goals for the Buffaloes were shared across the board with Matt Sondergeld notching up five with in-form forward Brodrick Hill kicking four in support.
Travis Willets kicked three goals in a man of the match performance from the wing while Alistair Baker and Tom Ketchup bagged two goals each.
Selwyn Teague was the best form of resistance from the Lake Nash side kicking four six-pointers in his team’s third loss in a row.
Buffaloes led from start to finish with the centre clearance disposals proving the difference between the two sides.
They say that the third quarter is the championship quarter, and the Buffaloes showed exactly why, keeping their opponents goalless, while adding five themselves.
The fourth quarter got uglier for Young Guns after conceding seven goals to two rounding off its heaviest defeat of the season.
The result means the Buffaloes are one win away from joining second-placed Young Guns on the competition ladder as the finals series draws nearer.
