With competitors coming from Queensland, Northern Territory, New South Wales, and Victoria, including the current Australian Campdraft Association open champion, the competition was top class.
From seasoned competitors’ to young children being led on their ponies, there was something for all with the new facility living up to expectations and providing excellent viewing of the weekend’s action.
Saturday night proved how the people of Mount Isa love their rodeo with a larger than expected crowd making their way out for an entertaining Bull and Bullock cow ride in a party atmosphere with the music and dancing going well into the night.
The Mount Isa Campdraft committee thanks all who were involved in making it a successful weekend.
