Set of Six - the six issues that will decide the Origin decider.

1. David Klemmer. Will he stand up or crumble at Suncorp?

The Blues' newest villain. It's remarkable to think Klemmer played for only 24 minutes and created the chaos he did in Origin II. This time it will be different. There will be a hostile environment and he will be hunted by a bruised Queensland side. The Blues camp have gone to unusual lengths to try to shield Klemmer from the build-up, blocking media access to the prop forward. Those inside the Blues camp say he thrives on the adversity and won't be overawed. Queensland will try to bait him into losing his cool.

 2. Cooper Cronk. Will he make the difference again to the Queenslanders?

Cronk is the best clutch player in the game. We saw in Origin II how Queensland's struggled for continuity with Daly Cherry-Evans playing No.7 in Cronk's absence. He gives confidence to his teammates, who have full faith in him to get the job done. Cronk can be expected to do plenty of defence, having not played since Origin I. His knee will be tested. Cronk will again be the man if the game is on the line.

3. How will Greg Inglis playing at fullback change the way the Maroons play?

Billy Slater is the best organising fullback in the game. Queensland will miss his direction. With Inglis, though, you get a more dangerous ball carrier. He will look to get his hands on the ball more and his ability to now pop up on either side of the field will cause a problem for the Blues defence. Queensland will miss his combination with Darius Boyd on the left side – which is the most successful combination in Origin history. The Blues will look to kick away from Inglis as they try to limit his impact.

4. Mitchell Pearce – will this be the match when he puts years of Origin flops behind him?

Pearce will be trending on social media on Wednesday night, regardless of the result. There is no more polarising player in the Blues squad, but this time the five-eighth is in a much better place. He won't be overawed by the occasion nor is he fuelled by the self-doubt that has plagued him in previous Origin deciders. Pearce knows he is up to Origin level, but he also understands that this game is a huge moment for him to prove his worth. Expect a more controlled Pearce than we have seen in the past.

5. The 10-metre rule – will it be enforced the same way as in Origin II and how will teams adjust?

Origin I and Origin II were such different styles of games, and that comes down to the officialdom. The bore of game one – where teams were barely kept apart – was replaced by a free-flowing match in Melbourne. Expect a similar type of game to Origin II but with more intensity in the middle of the field. Both teams will test the referees early as they try to assert their dominance. A forward battle has always suited Queensland in the past, but their pack holds no fears for a NSW side any more. Early ball to Michael Jennings and Josh Morris could see the Blues take advantage of a new-look centre/wing Queensland defensive pairing.

6. Can Michael Ennis fill the Robbie Farah role?

Ennis does not have the silky skills that Farah has. Expect the Blues to play less off their No.9 than they did in Origin II if Ennis does make his return to the Origin arena. What Ennis will give the side is great control. Had Ennis been suspended and Farah ruled out, it would have been a disaster for the Blues, and would have left them with little chance of winning. Ennis' niggle will also feature, while he will help take some of the heat away from Queensland's likely targets in David Klemmer and Aaron Woods
