The competition leaders are now only one win away from claiming the minor premiership with three games to spare in the season.
Brodie Deverell made a welcome return to the Tigers’ line-up with a team-high three goals while Blake Forrester was in form again, kicking two goals.
Buffaloes forward David Glossop was his team’s sole performer in front of goal kicking a game-high of four in his first appearance of the season.
Matt Dunn opened up the scoring for Tigers in the first quarter with a quick turn and snap on goal before Glossop levelled the scores moments later with a six-pointer.
Luke North responded next getting the Tigers back in front with a goal before Forrester extended the lead to seven points by quarter time.
The second quarter was the telling point of the match with the Tigers kicking four unanswered goals to stretch out a 39-point gap by half-time.
The Buffaloes made a great effort to get back into the game with three goals in the third term but the Tigers always remained close behind kicking two in reply.
With the game all but won, the Tigers pushed on in the fourth quarter with two goals to one, winning 78-44.
Tigers coach Craig Brice said on-ballers Nick Aberline and Jason Boydle were key to Saturday’s win and was even more pleased with Kevin Tongue’s performance.
