Brooke Giardina was unstoppable yet again scoring five goalsand adding to her tally of 16 goals in her past four appearances.
Kerrie Dempsey and Bianca Glover each bagged a goal to complete Parkside’s total for the night.
The grand final was in the balance in the early stages of the game with opportunities going begging for both sides.
Rippers started with one of its strongest line-ups of the season and pushed the competition front-runners in the first 10 minutes.
When Giardina entered the mix on the half-hour mark, the competition leading goal scorer made an immediate impact scoring twice quickly to put Parkside in the lead.
The rest of the game was history as Parkside began to settle into its passing game and made Rippers work hard in defence.
Parkside coach Jason Howard was pleased with his first piece of silverware for the season but is motivated to push on.
“With only five games left to go in the season the minor premiership is almost ours,” Howard said.
“Tonight was a team effort and I could not pick a player of the match. We only need to win two of the five games and it is ours for the first time in over 10 years.”
