You may want to sit down for what we're about to tell you.
Former Backstreet Boys band member Nick Carter is writing, directing and starring in a zombie Western movie and he's recruiting every '90s and 2000s pop star you've ever loved to star in it with him.
The film called Dead 7 is being produced by the same studio that made 2013's SyFy Channel howler Sharknado, and will star fellow Backstreet Boys member A.J. McLean as well as NSYNC's Joey Fatone.
In a plot that sounds part Mad Max, part Walking Dead, part As Long As You Love ME, Carter will play Jack, an reluctant hero who must unite a bunch of Western outlaw cowboys to tackle a scourge of zombies and save humanity.
Carter travelled with Fatone and McLean to the annual San Diego Comic-Con on Monday to announce the project which has been years in the making.

But wait, there's more.
The former pop star is using Twitter to try and poach everyone from The Beatles' Paul McCartney to The Spice Girl's 'Scary Spice' Mel B to be part of his gang of cowboys.
"Hey @OfficialMelB Would you be interested in acting in an action movie with me, killing zombies and saving the world?" Carter Tweeted on Tuesday.
He also asked Sir Paul, adding he was his boy band god.
"I'm literally out of my damn mind but... @PaulMcCartney would you make a cameo in my movie??? LMFAO #Dead7 P.s. You're GOD of boy-bands."
Proving the sky's the limit, Carter even reached out to One Direction's Niall Horan asking if he wanted to play his brother.
Ok @NiallOfficial I know we're from different generations but...would you like to play my brother in this zombie movie with me? #Dead7— Nick Carter (@nickcarter)

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the 35-year-old said he started writing the screenplay five years ago and just wanted to make a zombie movie with his friends. We're not convinced the screenplay was free of punctation errors...
Thank you again for all you're support and love during this process. YOU are the reason we're making this movie in the first place.— Nick Carter (@nickcarter)

"I wanted my friends in the film with me," he said. "What is more fun than riding horses and being zombies shooting things? Even as a kid I loved horror films, this was always something I wanted to do."
Carter has form in the horror genre, sort of, having played a Mummy in the Everybody (Backstreet's Back) music video.
His choice of love interest for the film is non other than 2000s pin-up girl Hilary Duff. We hope everyone says yes.
Backstreet's back, alright!
