Greg Inglis has praised halfback Adam Reynolds after his effort in South Sydney's 24-8 win over St George Illawarra, which included producing the play that sealed the points and condemned the Dragons to their sixth straight loss.

With the Rabbitohs holding a 12-8 advantage inside the final 10 minutes, Reynolds grubbered towards the in-goal, the ball bounced off the post and he regathered to score a try. Five-eighth Luke Keary got across the line in the dying moments to drive home the advantage.
"Every individual came up with key moments within that 80-minute performance tonight," said Inglis, whose bustling run up the ground from his own in-goal started the movement that ended with Reynolds' try.
"But, in saying that, Adam has been putting his head down and working really hard. For him to close out the game the way he did just shows how good he is. He's continuing to grow and wanting to learn as a halfback."
Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire was proud of his players after overcoming a Dragons side that had Benji Marshall and Josh Dugan back in the ranks.
"I think St George Illawarra had a completion rate up around 94 per cent, so it was a game we really had to stay at," he said. "Defensively we had to be very strong. They shift the ball a lot, St George [Illawarra], and you've got to be on right across the park defensively. I was pleased that the players did that."
St George Illawarra coach Paul McGregor felt the score was an unfair reflection of the match. "I think so," he said. "Those last two tries came from kicks. With 15 minutes to go I thought we were really on top. We were rolling through that middle third quite comfortably but we didn't finish off with any quality in our kicks. When we did get a decent kick away we managed to let them out of their own end way too easily.
"There was a lot of things that I think we did well. A 12-8 scoreline around the 72 or 73-minute mark - we got ourselves in a real good position there. But our inability to build pressure and finish off our sets let us down. That's game management. The people out there have got to be better at it than what we were tonight.
"We've got to win four of our next seven to make the finals. That's the reality. But we did a lot of good things in the game to know that we can win four games out of the next seven."
