It is irrefutable that 18th century artist Francisco Goya was a giant of art history.
After an early career as Court painter to the Spanish Monarchy, Goya's work became increasingly dark, with the desecration of humanity at it's thematic core.
It's beyond debate that Adam Goodes is one of the greatest footy players ever. Amazingly, the debasement of decency which has forced him away from the game and should have been cause for a painful and honest discussion has instead emboldened the usual conga-line of dial-a-quote former sports heroes and white 'commentators' to sink the boot further.
Unspeakable to date, it's now unquestionably true that racism in Australia is real.
