Rugby league hard man Gorden Tallis has called for Kyle Turner to retire after the South Sydney back-rower left the field after yet another head knock.

In what was Turner's first NRL appearance since last year's grand final after overcoming a serious neck injury sustained in the pre-season All-Stars match, the 23-year-old was assisted from the field five minutes into the second half of South Sydney's game against Penrith.
Turner – who had multiple concussions last year – knocked his head as he tried to attempt a tackle on Penrith's Jeremy Latimore.
That prompted Tallis to say on Triple M; "If that's my son, I ask him to retire."
Initial reports said Turner had not suffered a serious injury.
Former Newcastle forward Alex McKinnon, who suffered a serious spinal injury in a match against Melbourne Storm in 2013, said he felt sick watching the collision.
"Instantly felt sick watching Kyle Turner fall awkwardly from making that tackle, good to hear he's ok," McKinnon tweeted.
