Ernest Henry Mining Curry Merry Muster Festival Committee President, Jeremy Grimm, said the weekend was “another huge success”.
“The whole event went exceptionally well and we’d like to give a shout out to all of the competitors, locals and visitors who supported us over the weekend along with our dedicated sponsors, committee and team of volunteers who together make the event a possibility,” he said.
There was an appearance from the Curry Merry Muster Rodeo Queen 2015 Katy Scott and Miss Rodeo Australia Danika Boland.
Winning the 2015 Ernest Henry Mining Curry Merry Muster Festival Open Bull Ride with 85 points was cowboy Ben Gooding.
Riding for eight seconds on Gill Brothers Rodeo bull ‘Splinter’ Mr Gooding impressed the crowd with his skills.
Rodeo announcer Aaron Ryan and Keith Douglas entertained the crowds over the weekend, entertaining the crowd with games, jokes and the latest results.
First time event, the Junior Rodeo attracted almost 100 contestants competing in Junior Calf Roping, team roping, Steer Ride and Bull Riding.
This year’s up and coming Junior Bull Ride winner, Cameron Southern, lasted the goal of staying on for eight seconds.
Jo Caldwell took out the win for the Ladies Barrel Race with a time of 17.46 seconds.

• 2nd Division Bull Ride- Cameron Southern (74 points)
• 2nd Division Bareback- Tim Richardson (71 points)
• Rope & Tie- Mark Knox (10.45 seconds)
• Open Saddle Bronc- Rhys Angland (80 points)
• Team Roping- Clancy Middleton Jnr and Aaron Bookluck (5.15 seconds)
• Open Bareback- Jack Kidd (79 points)
• Steer Wrestling- Jamie Reynolds (3.55 seconds)
• Ken Coleman Shootout- Michael Maher (83 points)
