The Raiders' main 18 players have missed just 25 games between them through injury, prop David Shillington's broken thumb early in the season the only long-term issue they've dealt with.
Needing to beat Wests Tigers at home on Monday night to remain a win outside the top eight, the Raiders will have to do so without back rower Sia Soliola and hooker Josh Hodgson.
Both have been vital for Canberra since joining the club from the English Super League this year and have played every game thus far.
Sia Soliola had multiple plates inserted in the fractured cheekbone which forced him to travel nearly 2200km from Townsville after last week's loss to North Queensland, and may return if the Raiders make finals.
Hodgson, one of the more durable Raiders, is considered an outside chance of playing and will be given as long as possible to prove his fitness for the must-win clash.
With winger Edrick Lee to also miss the Tigers match through suspension, it's the first real injury and suspension adversity the Raiders have faced all year.
The Raiders have used 26 players so far this season, with only the Roosters (23), Cronulla (24), Souths (24) and the Tigers (25) using less.
However, many Canberra players used began the season in first grade but have since been dropped, including Mitch Cornish and Josh McCrone, while prop Dane Tilse joined Hull KR mid-season.
"It [injuries] are always tough but it's part of the game, we just have to battle on without them," Canberra coach Ricky Stuart said.
"Missing three of our better players, it gives somebody else the challenge to step up.
"[Sia's] very sore and sorry. There's multiple fractures and he had a number of plates put into his cheekbone.
"I've coached many tough players, but I haven't coached anyone tougher than this bloke.
"He's been a marvel for our team this year, on and off the field.
"What he's done off the field for us has been a really big part of our journey where we will hopefully grow into a tough football team mentally and physically."
Stuart acknowledged their dream injury run required plenty of luck, but also gave plenty of credit to their high performance staff.
He described Cronulla's recent attempt to poach back physiotherapist Konrad Schultz, one of the "Cronulla Four" sacked after ASADA's initial investigation in the 2011 supplements program at the Sharks, as "embarrassing".
Stuart said Schultz is happy at Canberra and the club extended his contract around a month ago.
"It was laughable when I found out Cronulla was trying to get him back, after leaving the poor bugger out to dry all those months ago, and their club doctor [David Givney]," he said.
"I found it embarrassing [for them] to even ring up and mention it.
"He [Schultz] and David Givney were both innocent in the situation, I just found it laughable they'd even have the audacity to make a call to see if he would be interested in coming back.
"He's very good at his job, he's very hard but fair on their programs and their physical welfare.
"You have to have an amount of luck [with injury], but you're also got to have a very professional sports science team, and we do."
