With a bye to come in round 23, Swan Districts, currently sixth, need to beat the fifth-placed Tigers to snatch their spot in the finals.

Claremont finish the home and away season with a game against the second-placed West Perth. If they lose to the Swans this weekend, they will need to beat the Falcons in that game to regain their spot in the top five.

Of course, the Tigers can close out the top five with a win this Saturday.

Claremont 18.7 (115) defeated East Fremantle 12.8 (80)

Claremont trailed by 29 points in the third term and by four points at the final change. The Tigers kicked 9.1 to 2.4 in the fourth quarter.
Beau Maister kicked 6.0, Thomas Ledger had 29 touches and Corey Yeo 28 for the winners.
Rory O'Brien had 30 possessions and Cam Eardley 10 tackles in East Fremantle 11th consecutive loss.
 
West Perth 14.12 (96) defeated Swan Districts 11.9 (75)

Swan Districts kicked just 0.3 in the final term to West Perth's 4.3.
The Falcons' Aaron Black had 32 touches and kicked two goals. Trent Manzone had 30 possession and 10 tackles.
Matt Jukes and Dylan Nelson kicked three goals each for the Swans, while Ryan Davis was again good with 25 possessions and seven inside 50 entries.
 
East Perth 13.16 (94) defeated Peel Thunder 8.14 (62)

Brendan Lee continued his red-hot form, with 33 touches for the Royals – reaching 30 in three of the past four weeks and 28 in the other.
East Perth had 10 West Coast-listed players, led by Kane Lucas' 23 possessions and 10 tackles. Tom Lamb was well held but still managed 2.2.
Peel had 15 Fremantle-listed players in the side, best served by Clancee Pearce with 38 touches and Jacob Ballard with 30. Brady Grey had 29 and laid 10 tackles.
 
Subiaco 22.15 (147) defeated Perth 8.6 (54)

Five of Subiaco's eight goal scorers kicked more than 1 – led by Kyle Halligan (6), Matt Boland (5) and Chris Phelan (4). Sam Menegola had 32 possessions and nine inside 50s, but his kicking at goal (1.3) let him down.
Demon Aidan Tropiano had "only" 28 possessions, his second lowest tally in his 18 games this season. He managed just 25 touches in Perth's nine point loss to Claremont in round 5.
Shane Yarran played only one quarter due to concussion and kicked only 0.1, keeping the competition's leading goal tally at 44. He leads Jack Bradshaw (Claremont) on 36 and West Perth's Michael Lourey on 32.
