Were in arguably the best shape of any top-eight side before Saturday's game where Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Mitchell Pearce were injured. Their front-row depth will be tested with Waerea-Hargreaves and Sam Moa sidelined, while Martin Kennedy is suspended. The back line is also missing Shaun Kenny-Dowall. Michael Jennings is also facing a one-game ban.

Despite losing to the Roosters, the Broncos finished better in the long run, as they got through the game unscathed. Down props Josh McGuire and James Gavet for the rest of the season, so could ill-afford another big man to go down. Winger Daniel Vidot is expected back from a broken finger before the finals.

Ankle damage: Michael Morgan. Photo: Anthony Au-Yeung
Like the Roosters, the Cowboys' win on Saturday came at a major cost. Michael Morgan (ankle) will battle to play again this season, while James Tamou (neck) has been cleared of serious injury but is an unlikely starter this week. Their roster is in generally good shape despite Morgan's injury.

Concern: Souths star Greg Inglis receives treatment during Friday's match against Canterbury before being forced to leave the field. Photo: Getty Images
Greg Inglis sent a scare through the team when he limped from the field with a knee injury. The Rabbitohs skipper had surgery on Monday and may not play until the first week of the finals. South Sydney welcome back Issac Luke and Luke Keary from suspension this week.

Ouch: Ben Barba grimaces as he receives attention. Photo: Mark Kolbe
Ben Barba remains the only big name sidelined for the Sharks but he should be back for their final regular-season clash against Manly. David and Andrew Fifita are suspended until week one of the finals while fringe players Jacob Gagan and Kyle Stanley are sidelined. Fa'amanu Brown is back training but would only be called upon if there was an injury crisis.

Wrist injury: Dale Finucane. Photo: Getty Images
The season-ending shoulder injury to Billy Slater has been a huge blow but Cameron Munster has done well at fullback. Dale Finucane is also battling to return this season after having surgery to repair a dislocated wrist. The Storm are also without Tom Learoyd-Lahrs.

Despite a battered squad, the Bulldogs remain in contention for the top four. Tony Williams and Michael Lichaa won't be back this year, while Josh Reynolds and Aiden Tolman remain sidelined. Fringe winger Corey Thompson is also sidelined. Reynolds is at least one more week away.

Bung ankle: Jason Nightingale. Photo: Getty Images
Will be almost full strength as they prepare to play finals football for the first time since 2011. Jason Nightingale (ankle) won't play this week, while Joel Thompson (hamstring) could return. Only long-term injury has been to back-rower Will Matthews who won't play again this year. Jake Marketo has a one-game ban for a dangerous throw.

Bad night: Matt Ballin leaves the field injured on Sunday. Photo: Getty Images
A mounting injury ward, and an increasingly unlikely finals appearance. The Sea Eagles left their run too late, at a time when their depth is being tested. Matt Ballin (knee) joins Luke Burgess, Jamie Buhrer and Clint Gutherson to rupture their anterior cruciate ligaments. Willie Mason will return from suspension this week, while Tom Symonds and Dunamis Lui are also expected to return.
