Chris Boulous writes: There is one big difference between the Rabbitohs of last year and Rabbitohs version 2015: consistency. The defending premiers have struggled to consistently reproduce their premiership form of last year and now need to win both their remaining games to stay in the top four. In their favour is the return of Issac Luke and Luke Keary from suspension. The bad news is that Greg Inglis (knee) will miss at least this week and their opponents the Broncos have the minor premiership in their sights after their main rivals were ravaged by injury last week. The Broncos, who are looking to break a four-game losing streak to the Rabbitohs, make their second trip to Allianz Stadium in a week and are favoured (1-12 at $3.10) to grind out a win on the road.

Chris Boulous writes: The injury ravaged Roosters head across the Spit Bridge attempting two things: to keep their minor premiership dream alive and officially end Manly's season. The Tricolours will get their first test without Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Mitchell Pearce with Sam Moa and Jackson Hastings the men entrusted by Trent Robinson to extend the Roosters streak to 11. Michael Jennings (suspended) will also miss the clash. For Manly the equation is simple – win their final two games and hope results go their way. The big question is did last week's shock loss to the Eels take the wind out of their sails? Traditionally, points are at a premium between these two teams making the penalty goal ($11) as first scoring play attractive.

After virtually ending the Sea Eagles' season last week, the Eels can end the Sharks' top four hopes if they can make it five wins from their last six starts against them. Tim Mannah returns for the Eels as both teams play for the Johnny Mannah Cup; a game that honours Tim's late brother Jon who played for both teams. Complacency shouldn't be a problem for the Sharks with a loss potentially seeing them drop to seventh place. Michael Gordon – one of several veteran Sharks winding back the clock - is $10 to score the first try against his future club.

The front six at Belmore are making quite the impression on the punters who now have them on the fourth line of betting ($5.50) to win the premiership. Sam Kasiano is the in-form forward in the game and his partner in crime in David Klemmer are providing the Bulldogs halves a platform unrivalled in the NRL. The Knights won't back down from the challenge of facing the surging Bulldogs. In fact they will be full of confidence after consecutive wins and will have extra motivation with departing skipper Kurt Gidley playing his 250th match and final game at Hunter Stadium.

Chris Boulous writes: The last time these two teams met Johnathan Thurston produced a moment of magic to avoid the Cowboys starting the season with four straight losses. Since then the Cowboys have lost only three more games and bounced back to form last week across the ditch. The win did come at a cost with Michael Morgan and James Tamou out for extended periods. For the Storm, they are coming off their worst performance of the season which has put their top four hopes on hold. The game sees two of the best front rowers (Matt Scott and Jesse Bromwich) and half backs (Thurston and Cooper Cronk) square off battles that will determine the outcome. In a tight contest the double markets appeal with the Cowboys/Storm $7.5 the most attractive.

Chris Boulous writes: The Dragons have their finals destiny in their own hands. Win their final two games and they can finish as high as fifth. Lose, and they can still miss the play offs. The returns of Jason Nightingale and Joel Thompson are a boost for the Dragons who have struggled in the past fortnight despite defeating Penrith last week. NRL.com stats reveals their opponents the Titans have the missed the most tackles, conceded the most tries and average the most errors in the NRL. And yet, they still pose a threat with Kane Elgey leading a team with plenty of attacking dangers headlined by James Roberts.  Defence is the Dragons strength and the $6.25 for the Titans to score only one try is value.

The Raiders and Panthers have managed just one win from their past six games to see their finals chances evaporate. The good news for fans is with the pressure off hopefully both teams will utilise their of array of attacking stars that might make the $9.5 you can get for seeing 10 tries an option.
