It's not yet a year since the Western Bulldogs and Sydney traded compensation picks received for a Brownlow Medallist (Adam Cooney) and a premiership hero (Nick Malceski), and Shane Biggs was sent home to Melbourne so the Swans could inch from 39 to 37 in the national draft. Biggs had come to AFL football late and unconventionally; an inconspicuous end seemed a distinct possibility.
