Isaacs will combine his abilities with bass player Brett Hirst, drummer Tim Firth and vocalist Briana Cowlishaw at John Flynn Place on Thursday night.
Isaacs has performed on the international jazz scene, has written symphonies and concertos, and has been nominated for two ARIA awards.
London based Cowlishaw is inspired by the sounds of Joni Mitchell, Vince Jones, Diana Reeve, Esperanza Spalding and Elis Regina, and she uses their influences to combine the styles of jazz, latin and pop.
Isaacs’ set list features beautiful jazz and pop covers including Fire and Rain, What a Wonderful World and It’s Too Late.
Original work will include Duende, and You Never Forget Love.
There will also be a question and answer session for local Cloncurry musicians and teachers.
Early bird tickets are $30 and can be bought at the Cloncurry Shire Council office.
The tour is supported by the State Government’s The Playing Queensland Fund.
