Malcolm Turnbull to meet family of police employee, Curtis Cheng, shot dead in Sydney

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says he will speak to the family of the Sydney police employee who was shot dead by a high school student on the weekend.

This came as Mr Turnbull, who has previously described the murder as an "act of terrorism" said it was too early to say whether the teenaged gunman was "self-motivated" or "self-activated." Police also say the teen's politically motivated attack was linked to terrorism.
