As opposed to previous years when the Raiders often spend the opening weeks on the road, they have the luxury of building momentum at home in their quest to reach the finals for the first time since 2012.
The Raiders host the Penrith Panthers in a Saturday afternoon game at Canberra Stadium on Saturday, March 5 in round one.
They remain in Canberra the following week to entertain premiership heavyweights the Sydney Roosters in round two, returning in round four to face the Gold Coast Titans.
In between, the Raiders travel to Newcastle in round three.
The Raiders only have two games all season in the unwanted Monday night timeslot - away to Belmore Oval in round five against the Bulldogs and at home to defending premiers the North Queensland Cowboys in round 18.
The Raiders will have four games on free to air television, including two in the new Thursday night timeslot.
Their Thursday night games are against the Dragons at Jubilee Oval in round 10 and the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium in round 14.
There are no Thursday night games in Canberra next year.
The Raiders' only Friday night game is at home to Manly in round 13, while they host the Bulldogs in a free to air television Sunday afternoon game in round 12.
The Raiders will travel to Bathurst in round nine for their match with Penrith, while they will also visit New Plymouth's Yarrow Stadium for their match with the New Zealand Warriors in round 11.
The date and time for the last six rounds of the season are yet to be finalised.
