This includes three time AFL premiership winner Darryl White, who has played 178 games for the Lions between 1997 to 2005.
White is the only Brisbane Lions player to ever poll three Brownlow medals on debut.
White will be here to help build football skills with youth as part of a free Sport 4 Life holiday program organised by Whitelion.
He will be joined by Jess Foley and Deba George, both elite basketballers.
They will be in Cloncurry on the Monday and Tuesday at the PCYC Activities Hall.
On Wednesday to Friday next week they will be at the Mount Isa Basketball Stadium.
Program coordinator Alex Birnberg said it was a good chance for young people to meet some of the country’s most successful athletes, who will facilitate a range of drills, activities and games for them.
Lunch on the day will be provided for program participants, she said.
“Sport 4 Life, which used to be called On the Ball, provides a great opportunity for young people to learn about the importance of making healthy choices and the benefits of physical exercise,” Ms Birnberg said.
“It promotes healthy living and helps to build self-esteem, leadership and goal setting skills.”
