50 people exercised vigorously during the Mount Isa’s Biggest Bootcamp at the Saint Joseph’s Primary School hall on Saturday morning.
Body Balance Gym instructors led the bootcampers through a mix of cardio, boxing, martial arts and yoga exercises and donated their time to Ms Beckmann’s cause.
Ms Beckmann said the number of people was not quite what she had hoped but rain might have kept some potential bootcampers away.
She aimed to raise $1500 from the bootcamp for Ronald McDonald House but calculating the attendee numbers with the $20 entry she had two-thirds of her target.
In total she wanted to raise $25,000 for the charity during her Queen Quest.
She planned on holding two more bootcamps later in the year.
