Before Daria Gavrilova there was Casey Dellacqua, the previous local woman to reach an Australian Open fourth round. Dellacqua, the world No.5 in doubles and two-time grand slam finalist last year, was limited to cameo appearances on the practice court and in the Asia-Pacific Tennis League on her most recent and very low-key visit to Melbourne Park.
