Millar was named the PGA of Australasia player of the year after a superb 2015 where he finished third on the order of merit after 11 top-10 finishes.
The 39-year-old told Fairfax Media last month he would be "crazy not to look at" the final stage of Europe or Japan qualifying school, should he maintain his form, after he stopped travelling to focus on teaching.
