Mount Isa Miners challenge Alice Springs in Northern Territory

THE Mount Isa Miners are eager to be out on the field after weeks of rest, meaning they will not take half-measures against Alice Springs on Saturday. The best from each local rugby league team had three training sessions together before they took a bus to Alice Springs early Friday morning. Coach Nelson Dotoi said the team’s strength was in attacking and moving forward. Their defence has yet been untested.
