Mount Isa
As known for over a week Joyce McCulloch will be the new Mount Isa mayor and after all 12 booths were counted her final lead over Kim Coghlan was 579 votes.
The final rundown is Joyce McCulloch 3389, Kim Coghlan 2810, David Fletcher 738, Chris Boshoff 718, Kim-Maree Burton 369.
George Fortune topped the councillor poll and he will be joined in council by Phil Barwick, Jean Ferris, Mick Tully, Paul Stretton and Peta Macrae. Ms Macrae pipped Shaz Sellings by 19 votes.

The Cloncurry count on the ECQ is still showing 6 from 10 booths counted.
However Greg Campbell is almost certain to become the new Mayor. He has 343 votes ahead of Keith Douglas 288, Jane McMillan 286, Andrew Tonkin 225 and John Green 95.
Mr Campbell will be joined in council by Brad Rix 563, Dane Swalling 511, Damien McGee 452 and Vicky Campbell 444. The remaining candidates are: Peter Hacon 422, Colin Ferguson (sitting councillor) 413, Dionne Connolly 409, Mace Bennett 346, Dale Saunders 250, Chris Phillips 247, Paula Booth 244, Abdy Brooke 236, Bill Johnston 187.
Boulia Shire
Rick Britton has been returned as the mayor of Boulia beating deputy mayor Kelsey Neilson 120 votes to 88.
Leading the race for the four councillors are: Sam Beauchamp 124, Brook McGlinchey 115, Rebecka Britton 102 and Bozo Robinson 100. Just one vote behind is Melinda Punch on 99. The rundown: Jack Neilson 92, Amy Woodhouse 53, William Doyle 52, Kalinda Cluff 50, Del George 45.
Burke Shire
Ernie Camp was re-elected Burke Shire Mayor unopposed. The four council positions look to be filled by John Yanner 122, John Clarke 95, Tonya Murray 77 and Paul Poole 68. Behind them are: Kelly Gardner 59, Annie Clarke 57, Kenneth Booth 54, Rosita Wade 52.
Carpentaria Shire
Lyall (Jack) Bawden has beaten incumbent Fred Pascoe for Carpentaria Mayor 531-315. In the race for six council positions, the top six are Peter Wells 493, Ashley Gallagher 487, Bradley Hawkins 464, James (Craig) Young 394 and Andrew Murphy 388. They are followed by: John Beard 316, Duane Amos 308, Chene Sivyer 295, Ivan Schneekloth 274, Robert Pender 217, Paul Edwards 212, Sorren Owens 210, Neville Elmes 185 Peter Cameron 172, Alan Gurney 157, William Santo 133, Lawrence Langton 125.
Croydon Shire
Trevor Pickering will remain the mayor of Croydon having pipped his cousin John Pickering. The result: Trevor Pickering 62, John Pickering 42, Caroline Steele 32, Patrick Wheeler 28.
In council three of the four seats are likely to be taken by Wayne Bing Chew 119, Jeffrey Norman 77, Kim Gaynor 76. There is a tie for fourth between Anita Pickering and Jim Gilmartin both on 71. The rundown: Peter Kennedy 51, Michelle Martin 50, Mandy Pickering 46, Peter Garde 41, Lorina Douglas 40, Darrell Morris 22.
Diamantina Shire
Geoff Morton was comfortably returned as mayor Diamantina Shire. He defeated Don Rowlands 71-33.
In the council election the four elected councillors will be Bev Maunsell 69, Steve Cramer 65, Doug Cooms 63, Don Rayment 63. Missing out are: Jim Smith 48, Lorraine Kath 36, Georgie Black 32, Simon Halse 17, Cindy Hodson 11.
Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire
In Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire council, sitting mayor Fred O’Keefe has been defeated by Edric Walden however Mr O’Keefe complained of illegal activity to the North West Star.
“At least one mayoral candidate and one council candidate were within the 6m boundary of the polling place,” Mr O’Keefe said.
Mr O’Keefe said he has made a complaint to the ECQ but wouldn’t name the candidates concerned.
“They know who they are,” he said.
The results were Edric Walden 172, Fred O’Keefe 151, Chris Logan 39, David Escott 23.
The four likely councillors will be Jason Ned 177, Tony Chong 144, Dean Jupiter 144, Scharrayne Foster 140. The rundown: Athol Waldon 130, Vernon Ned 126, Darcy Walden 122, Tony Douglas 114, Carlene Logan 87, Craig Logan 78, Elaine Cairns 58, Martin Evans 48.
Flinders Shire
Jane McNamara looks set to defeat sitting mayor Greg Jones in Flinders Shire. She leads 482-472.
In the race for six council positions the leaders are: Graham Sealy 716 Kelly Carter 612, Kate Downie 487, Sean O’Neill 440, Bill Bode 420, Kim Middleton 402.
The rundown: Victoria Horton 379, Shane McCarthy 375, Jane Charuba 328, Barbara Geisler 321, Deslye Priestley 302, Trevor Mitchell 270, Beryl Hunter 190, Andrew Holden 162, Kevin Brebner 152, Barbara Baillie 54.
McKinley Shire
Belinda Murphy was comfortably re-elected mayor of McKinley. She defeated Lynette Clout 276-112 and her 70-30% margin was one of the biggest in Queensland.
The four councillor positions will be filled by Neil Walker 257, Janene Fegan 253 Shauna Royes 230 and Philip Curr 201. The remaining candidates: Clifford Fitchett 185, Edwina Hick 175, Dave McNab 152 and Grant Wiles 115.
Mornington Shire
Bradley Wilson looks set to hang on as Mornington Shire mayor. He has 109 votes to Richard Sewter’s 106. Glenys Saltmere has 97, Walter Felton 64 and Alan Seckington 54.
In the council election four places are up for grabs with just one sitting councillor (Bob Thompson) set to be returned. The top four are: Sarah Isaacs 212, Bob Thompson 210, Cecily Farrell 185, Maureen Ah Kit 183. Behind them are: Robyrta Felton 147, John Williams 129, Michelle Cameron 127 Desmond Anderson 126, Lyle Wilson 105.
Richmond Shire
John Wharton was re-elected unopposed as Richmond Mayor. There are five councillor positions and they are led by: Patsy-Ann Fox 335, Kevin Bawden 308, June Kuhl 253, Bethea Pattel 240, Clay Kennedy 211.
They are followed by: Scott Geary 173, Tony Lillyman 139, James Pickering 138, Terry Stainkey 133.
Winton Shire
Butch Lenton was returned as Winton mayor unopposed. The five likely to be elected to council are: Gavin Baskett 592, Shane Mann 442, Joel Mann 335, Travis Harbour 332, Judy Sale 317.
