Nival Shah drove while using a phone app necessary for the use of Uber transportation in Brisbane but the matter was heard in the Mount Isa courthouse. Uber drivers used the app to find out who their next passenger would be, Shah said. There are no Uber drivers who operate in Mount Isa, according to a local taxi driver.
