The Eagles announced late on Friday afternoon that the star midfielder, who won the Ross Glendinning Medal in the Western Derby last weekend, would be rested against the Tigers due to a groin strain.
It was speculated all week that Priddis would struggle to get up on the quick back-up. He appeared at a post-match derby press conference with an ice-pack strapped to his upper leg.
Priddis has been replaced in the side by Mark Hutchings.
Eric Mackenzie (toe) and Jamie Cripps (thigh) have both been passed fit to play.
