All eyes were on models as they paraded ready-to-wear fashions from BellaDonna Bridal, Signature Bridal and Formal, and Romeo and Juliets Bridal.
Mount Isa Entertainment and Tourism Venues (MIETV) Events Operations Coordinator Bec Dent said ten per cent of proceeds of all wedding dresses sold were donated to the Mount Isa Cancer House, along with a portion of all ticket sales.
“It was wonderful when the Mount Isa Cancer House said that they would be very grateful to be our charity for the event,” Ms Dent said.
“The kind of work they do in our community is really amazing.”
Event goers were also treated to demonstrations by Capricorn Hair Studio and Face Candy, who showcased bridal updos and makeup for the big day.
The expo wrapped up with winners being drawn for prizes from Helloworld and a wedding photography package from Kate Glover Photography.
