Mal Meninga has named his first Australian team with Darius Boyd winning the coveted No.1 jumper, Paul Gallen picked to end his two-year drought from the international arena and Semi Radradra will pull on the green and gold for the first time.

Interestingly, here is how the Kangaroos team would look if it was picked on Ultimate League numbers, with only three players making both teams.

1. James Tedesco: The Wests Tigers custodian has scored 357 points in contrast to Darius Boyd's total of 198.
2. Cameron Munster: The Storm No.1 was hard to leave out of the team after racking up 326 points at an average of 44. Blake Ferguson has managed just 242 points.
3. Josh Dugan: Named in the centres for Kangaroos and for good reason, too. He averages 48 in his last five games.
4. James Roberts: The flyer has still managed 290 points despite a slow start to the year. A season-high 68 against the Cowboys was the highlight. Greg Inglis has scored 274 points.
5. Semi Radradra: Gets a spot in the team courtesy of Tom Trbojevic's injury. Radradra has produced back-to-back 50-plus scores.
6. ​Anthony Milford: The in-from player in the NRL has been devastating for the Broncos and has outscored Johnathan Thurston by 32 points.
7. Ben Hunt: A no contest for halfback with Hunt averaging 60 in the opening rounds, while Cooper Cronk averages 37.
8. Ryan James: In career-best form and has stepped up for the inexperienced Titans to punch out 428 points.
9. Jake Friend: The Roosters hooker is the No.1 player in Ultimate League with a total of 544. Cameron Smith is not far behind in second place on 534.
10. Andrew Fifita: On form will walk into the NSW team and has outscored Australian prop Matt Scott 422 to 250.
11. Jack de Belin: The bolter of the team after quietly racking up the numbers in a team that has struggled for points.He has managed to outscore Josh Papalii by almost 100 points.
12. Jake Trbojevic: The young gun continues to impress with his work ethic and that's reflected in his average of 55. Matt Gillett averages 49.
13. Paul Gallen: The Australian prop is the clear winner for the lock position averaging 57 compared to Parker's 47.
