Carlton football manager Andrew McKay said Weitering had sustained two injuries in the one incident but suggested the shoulder wrench might not be as serious as first feared.

"He got a head clash, that's why he stayed down for a bit." McKay said. "He gave the shoulder a wrench but it's not fully dislocated.

"If the strength is good he will be right for next week but otherwise he might miss a couple."
