North Melbourne forward Lindsay Thomas has been offered a one-week suspension by the match review panel, for his high tackle on Bulldog Lachie Hunter.
Hunter was taken to hospital following Friday night's game after suffering symptoms of concussion.
Under the grading system, the MRP classified the incident as careless conduct with medium impact to the head, drawing a two-game suspension which can be reduced to one with an early plea.
When asked about the tackle on Saturday, Hunter's teammate Marcus Bontempelli said he believed there was "malice" in Thomas's crude tackle.
Thomas is the only player to be offered a suspension from the weekend, with Hawks Luke Hodge and Ben Stratton cleared of wrongdoing in separate incidents in Saturday's loss to Greater Western Sydney.
Hodge's high tackle on Nathan Wilson was described as an "open hand" by the match-day umpire, while Stratton's head clash with Wilson was labelled as "accidental."
