THE Buffs Club presented Legacy, Soldier On and Mount Isa RSL Sub-Branch with $400 each from the donations made on Anzac Day.

Buffs Club president, Jim Bowden, said they were proud to donate the money to a worthwhile cause.
“We are very proud to be able to present the Mount Isa RSL Sub-Branch a home and we hope that it remains for a long, long time. We have a very well working association between the two of us,” Mr Bowden said.
“Coming to presentation of these cheque it is a worthwhile cause and we hope more people next year can jump on board and we can present bigger donations.”
The donations were received from playing two-up and was donated by the community.
The Mount Isa RSL Sub-Branch stated their money would go towards supporting veterans around Mount Isa, Soldier On said the funds would go to the headquarters and distributed out to wounded soldiers and veterans who have returned and Legacy said they would use the money to support families of veterans.
