This special event is the first of its kind for Mount Isa, in that it will be held right in the middle of traditional zombie and horror story territory, deep in the bowels of the earth in the tunnels at the Outback at Isa Underground Museum.
Sarah and her support team have been busy putting together a schedule of events that will no doubt leave you scared senseless of the dark.
Spine-chilling entertainment will be provided by members of the Mount Isa Theatrical Society and even the three-course meal will be part of the theme for the evening.
Sarah said she was really excited for what the evening would hold in store for those locals lucky enough to secure one of the limited tickets to the event.
“We’ve been planning this event for quite a while and have put together some fantastic ideas to really give people a good fright on the night,” Sarah said.
“We’ll have prizes for those guests who really get into the theme and come dressed for the occasion.
“We’re hoping to have all kinds of evil creatures such as zombies, monsters, ghouls, witches, skeletons and more there on the night.
“We’ll be warning people to expect the unexpected and definitely recommend you don’t attend if you have a weak heart!”
Tickets to Black Fright Night are $125 each which includes mine entry, a three course themed meal, some drinks and entertainment.
Profits from the evening will go to support Sarah’s chosen charity, Paws, Hoofs and Claws Inc in her Mount Isa Rotary Rodeo Queen Quest journey.
If the thought of seeing gruesome ghouls and having terrifying experiences in the spooky darkness of underground frightens the pants off you, then this is one event you probably should miss.
However, if you are keen for a fun and truly frightening experience that you definitely won’t forget in a hurry, then don’t miss out on purchasing a ticket!
