The club was fortunate enough to receive a grant from the Glencore Ernest Henry Mine late last year, which, along with money raised from fundraising efforts in conjunction with the Post Office Hotel, helped to upgrade the round yard.
The round yard is key to successful and safe horsemanship, allowing for safe and efficient exercising and training of horses. It also gives a safe place for young children and beginners to build their confidence, practice their leads and balance.
The club would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the support of Glencore Ernest Henry Mine and the Post Office Hotel. As well as Lesley Laffey, our chief instructor; John Green, our president and Rally Day instructor; and Haylee Scanlan, our treasurer and one of the judges for the gymkhana, as well as everyone else who contributed to the success of this event.
