We are already six rounds into the season and it seems fairly clear which players are reliable for our fantasy teams and who are the pretenders. Below are this week's rankings, and there aren't too many surprises with the fixtures on hand for round 7.

Our defensive top five is very much as you'd expect, being some of the better and most consistent fantasy players in the competition. Heath Shaw is our top pick this week after a huge match against the Hawks. He's playing against a disappointing Fremantle side and should push a little higher up the field, getting plenty of the ball.
Matthew Boyd's fantasy scores had been steady to start the season, but he has enhanced his reputation as an elite fantasy defender. With injuries to teammates Murphy, Johannisen and Suckling, Boyd is as important as ever and this will see him score very well, especially this week against the Crows.
Sydney faces Essendon this week and they clearly have the pick of the fantasy players in our rankings. Daniel Hannebery and Luke Parker are our first and second ranked midfielders after huge starts to the season. Essendon's lack of clear accountability should see them score extremely well again.
Collingwood should provide some good scores for coaches as they take on Carlton this week. Adam Treloar and Steele Sidebottom are ranked third and fifth respectively, and Carlton have a habit of leaking a lot of fantasy points so they should do very well.
Todd Goldstein is expected to bounce back after a terrible week and is our best ruckman for the week. While Tom Hickey has performed admirably this season, Goldstein should be a class above. Max Gawn is clearly the second ranked ruckman, as he comes up against an inexperienced Gold Coast ruck division.
All the top five forwards this week have centre eligibility in 2016. Aaron Hall will bounce back against the Demons, while Dayne Zorko's explosive start to the season cannot be ignored any more. He's our second best forward option for round 7, and will like playing in the cauldron that is Adelaide Oval.
Toby Greene has been excellent in GWS wins and with a match they really should win against Fremantle, Greene should score highly again. Finally, a special mention to Dustin Martin, who looks to have had a change in fortunes and will thrive playing on the big stage against the reigning premiers.
