Former Brisbane Lions great Jonathan Brown has joined the chorus of past players urging the Dockers to recruit Melbourne young gun Jesse Hogan at any cost.

Brown says Fremantle, currently languishing at the bottom of the table, should offer Hogan $15 million over ten years to lure him back to WA.
"This bloke is a once-in-a-20-year player along with Tom Lynch," Brown told Foxtel's On The Couch on Monday night.
"It's probably going to take a side... have they the confidence, have they got the strength to offer Jesse Hogan $15 million over ten years. I think that's what it will take."
Brown, who kicked 594 for the Lions said $15 million for Hogan wasn't a "ridiculous" amount of money.
"We have seen Lance Franklin, we have seen Gary Ablett on massive contracts, the salary gap is going to go up as part of the next TV rights deal," he said.
"I think if I was Ross Lyon from Fremantle I would be going to Jesse Hogan - WA boy - I would be saying $15 million for 10 years."
The three-time premiership player with the Lions said Hogan just needed to tweak his game a little to become one of the games greats.
Hogan, 21, has only played 27 games but showed in round six he has the potential to be the standout power forward in the AFL, booting seven goals in the Demons 39-point loss to the Saints.
"Jesse Hogan has got two or three things in his game that need to improve to get to the Tom Lynch standard, which I am very confident he will do over the next two or three years," Brown.
Brownlow Medallist Brad Hardie has continually suggested Hogan will head west - potentially even before his contract with Melbourne ends after the 2017 season.
Hogan, who started his football with WAFL side Claremont, has already reportedly bought a house in Perth.
Hardie - a respected football commentator for Radio 6PR - thinks Hogan is a better fit for the Dockers than homesick Greater Western Sydney forward Cam McCarthy.
McCarthy is on indefinite leave from GWS after he left the club in January to head home to Perth to deal with an ongoing mental issue.
McCarthy was on the Dockers' radar after he kicked 35 goals last year and also mentioned he was keen to return home.
But the deal fell flat after GWS and the Dockers failed to agree on a trade for McCarthy.
He is currently training with WAFL club South Fremantle.
