Jetta, traded for ruckman Callum Sinclair in the off-season, had little impact on last week's clash with Geelong, failing to lay a tackle and having all but been put on notice by coach Adam Simpson earlier in the week.

The 27-year-old has struggled since joining the Eagles, with his best outing being a 17-possession, two-goal game in the Western Derby win over Fremantle. He had only nine disposals against the Cats for a goal in junk time and will spend the weekend in the WAFL after the Eagles brought Jamie Bennell, Sam Butler, Thomas Cole and Patrick McGinnity into a 25-man squad.

Across town at the still winless Fremantle, the Dockers careers of Michael Barlow and Zac Dawson might be at a crossroads after being dropped for the trip to Launceston to play Hawthorn.

Key defender Dawson, a long-time favourite of coach Ross Lyon, has played every game this year but continues to struggle with his kicking and had little impact last week as a pinch-hitter in the ruck.

Barlow, a leading Brownlow Medal fancy in his 2010 debut year, played all 24 Dockers games last year including the preliminary final loss to Hawthorn.

However, he has been less influential since moving into a role alternating between the half-forward-line and the centre and, although he gathered 30-plus possessions in recent defeats by Carlton and Adelaide, his efficiency has been questionable.

Clancee Pearce, Zac Clarke and Ed Langdon all return for Fremantle, with former skipper Matthew Pavlich rested for the road trip.

Hawthorn will be without Cyril Rioli due to family illness and Kieran Lovell has been dropped, while gun midfielder Sam Mitchell and key defender James Frawley resume.

St Kilda has included Eli Templeton, Dylan Roberton, Brodie Murdoch, Jack Sinclair and Lewis Pierce in its extended squad.
