The Western Bulldogs are set to introduce their third debutant this season, after South Australian Bailey Williams was named to face Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday.
Williams, 18, replaced defender Marcus Adams, who is sidelined with a fractured finger.
Bulldogs assistant coach Daniel Giansiracusa said he was looking forward to seeing 187-centimetre Williams play against the Demons.
"It's exciting for a first-year player to pull on the colours for the first time," Giansiracusa told the club's website. "He's had some really solid form at VFL level, where he's slotted into the way we play down back.
"We're excited to see how he goes."
Williams was taken by the Dogs at pick 48 in last year's draft. He has been playing at half-back in the VFL, and joins Adams and Josh Dunkley as Dogs debutants this season. Jed Adcock and Matt Suckling have also played their first games for the Dogs after lengthy stints at the Brisbane Lions and Hawthorn respectively.
The Dees have made one change to the side that thrashed Gold Coast last week, with Christian Salem replacing Dean Kent, who misses with a back issue. Melbourne coach Paul Roos said he was reluctant to make unforced changes to a winning combination.
"It's hard to spit anyone else out – the seconds have been playing well," Roos told the club's website.
Carlton have named an unchanged team to play Port Adelaide at Etihad Stadium on Sunday. The Power have dropped Jimmy Toumpas, with Karl Amon recalled.
St Kilda have made two changes for Sunday's clash with West Coast at Domain Stadium. Dylan Roberton and Jack Sinclair return, with Sam Fisher out with soreness, and Darren Minchington omitted. The Eagles have picked veteran Sam Butler to replace struggling former Sydney speedster Lewis Jetta, who was dumped from the team on Thursday.
