Mornington Shire Council held educational workshops in senior First aid training, to build skills in local team members. Council's training coordinator Aleesha Menere said the program was run through Remote Training Service Cairns. "First aid training comes in handy for a variety of different situations in life, and can be invaluable when living in remote areas, many people receive this training strictly due to a job requirement, but can benefit anyone’s life".
